I joined because I have a passion for event planning and serving the community. I was a part of the committee last year and enjoyed every part of the process, so i want to help this year be even better than the last. "​

I joined TOGETHER for the Long Run because i wanted to have role in helping others feel joy because everyone is included! I love making connections with people and seeing their smiles. ​"

Last year I joined TftLR because my beloved soccer coach Cat Edmonds was spearheading the student committee. It looked like a fun way to get involved in the community with my friends. But by the end it became much more than that. It became a place where I truly felt I was filling the loyal community with more joy than before., and built relationships that changed who I am.” ​

I was fortunate enough to be a part of TftLR last year and experienced the planning process as the event was making a comeback. It was so fun to see our hard work pay off in the joy of athletics and volunteers alike, gathering people of all backgrounds to share such a beautiful celebration. I hope to make this year even better."

​I had done previous volunteering with LOGAN and really enjoyed it. I wanted to be more involved and my soccer coach, Cat, invited me to look into this student committee. And after last year's successful and fun event, I just had to return to plan it again."

I joined TftLR because I wanted to find ways to help our community outside of school. I have participated in LOGAN events prior to this and i loved being able to bring smiles to peoples’ faces and bring them happiness through encouragement. After the success of last year, I hope to create and even more exciting event this year. "

​I joined TftLR after hearing reasoning behind the event turning can’ts into cans. The idea of creating spaces where individuals do not feel limited by their physical of intellectual disabilities really spoke to me. After working with the committee las year and seeing the visible smiles that were on participants and the volunteers’ faces, I was thrilled to come back and create another amazing event.”
